1. Soybean — extraction and degumming. Paraguayan soybeans are conditioned, flaked and solvent-extracted with hexane. The resulting crude oil is water-degummed to precipitate phosphatides (gums), bringing phosphorus down to a maximum of 200 ppm and delivering a stable oil for refining or biodiesel.
2. Sunflower — mechanical and solvent extraction. Domestic sunflower seeds are pressed and then subjected to a second hexane extraction to recover residual oil from the cake. Crude sunflower oil is delivered without neutralisation, with the crop's natural acidity and colour and an iodine value of 115 – 138 that reflects its linoleic-rich profile.
3. Shared dispatch. Both oils are stored in a cool, dry and dark location and dispatched in bulk (marine cargo or flexitanks) with a certificate of quality per shipment and a 12-month shelf life.
